Our Founder
Kin Brown-Lane is a dedicated community activist based in Cherry Hill known for her unwavering commitment to social justice, environmental sustainability, senior citizen accessibility initiatives, youth development, and education reform. With over 30 years of experience in grassroots organizing, she has successfully led initiatives that have brought about significant change.
As the founder of Switching Lanes Adult & Youth Institute, Kin Brown-Lane focuses on the organization’s mission, working tirelessly to empower marginalized voices and foster community resilience. She believes in the power of collective action and often collaborates with local leaders, volunteers, and residents to address pressing issues such as housing, healthcare access, and racial equality.
Beyond her work in the community, Kin Brown-Lane is an advocate for policy reform, community education, aging, and frequently speaks at conferences and workshops to inspire others to get involved.
In her free time, Kin enjoys cooking, family, and decorating. She is committed to building a more equitable future and believes that small actions can lead to profound change.
